I live in London with my wife Debbie and our two children. I am Head of Music for BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music. I have previously been programming director of Napster, PD of 95.8 Capital FM and Head of Music at BBC Radio 1. I created BBC Radio 1’s Evening Session show in the 90s and Radio 1’s Live Lounge in the late 90s. I also set up the concept of Radio 1 Live In….as a big event to replace the R1 Roadshow. At Radio 2 I created the station’s first music drama “Shout To The Top” which transferred to Radio 4 as and commissioned the Radio Academy award winning “Darkside” – a drama based on Pink Floyd’s “The Dark Side of The Moon” album written by Sir Tom Stoppard and endorsed by all the members of Pink Floyd.
